A garden that produces enough to can for the winter, or maybe even to sell at the farmer's market...
A house I designed myself, with a real live root cellar...
A lot big enough to have real, live trees, in addition to a garden...
A small, diverse orchard with the best tasting apples ever...
The taste of fresh raspberries right off the vine...
Picking my first asparagus EVER...
Friendly bumble bees moving into my humble bumble home...
A couple of hens in a cute little coop with real, truly fresh eggs...
Maybe actually getting a farm of my own one day...
A yard where I can actually see wild animals, maybe fox or turkeys (but not deer!)...
A peaceful place to call my own...
Seeing my little lettuce seedlings sprout into tasty tasty salad!

Black seeded simpson was one of the first vegetables I ever grew - 42 days to harvest!. I did them directly in my Zone 5B garden on a very warm March 21st. Alas, no snow like you, but stupidly cold. May spring come soon. Welcome to Blotanical!

Lots of dreams here that we both have in common. We are still evolving our house, it sort of has a root cellar a 16 x 24 basement, potatoes are stored in it does that count?
Plant Meslin salad mix about every two weeks and you'll have lots of salad.

Randy, I totally think that counts as a root cellar! We have a basement area where we put potatoes, but it's not quite good enough. I'm so excited about my salad seeds!
Sounds like a great dream! It's fun to daydream about what we'd like to accomplish. I hope at least some of them come true!
Hi Pam , thinks for leaving a comment on my blog. Your dreams sound great, I'd love to live in the countryside, grow a few veg and have a few more animals - would quite like goats. Good luck in changing the laws for area and hope you get your chickens one day.
